So, as you might have guessed from a series of vague tweets and posts of cardboard boxes, change is afoot at The Wishing Tree HQ. But it’s a secret no more – thanks to a combination of a case of wanderlust, and a very healthy dose of good luck, Lewis and I will be moving back to London this week!
I am absolutely ecstatic about the news, and have been in a bit of a bubble since it was made definite. We are setting off to open the new London office for the agency we work for; an incredible opportunity for the both of us, and one that we just couldn’t pass up. And now it’s only mere days away, I thought it would be a good time to reflect on the last couple of months here in Glasgow. It’s been a wonderful three years, and I really feel we’ve made the most of this fantastic city, but we’ve both been longing for a change of scene, and can’t wait to embark on our new adventure.
In the last few weeks, we’ve made the most of the time we had left here, and have visited heaps of restaurants that we’d always wanted to try, as well as taken the opportunity to have plenty of long walks around the stunning Kelvingrove Park, which I will sorely miss. We’ve spent lots of time with friends and family, making plans for visits in the future, and even more time packing. It’s true that you just don’t realise how much stuff you have until you have to box it all up!
So the next week or so may be a little sparse in terms of blogging, but I thought it only right to share our very exciting news! I’ll be back very soon, with another outfit post, with a whole new set of backdrops!
