Dress – H&M. Bag – Vintage. Boots – Forever 21.
I’ve made no secret of the fact that two of my favourite things are Autumn, and lazy Sunday afternoons. So luckily for me, last Sunday provided the ideal opportunity to indulge in both as well as a hefty lunch and some cake – two other favourite things…)
After a bit of a luxuriant breakfast (love you, sausage sandwich), I dressed in one of my new favourite autumnal ensembles for a lazy jaunt around Crystal Palace park. I loved this H&M dress back in the day when I worked there, so when I found this pristine one on Depop a few months back, I had to snap it up. Paired with trusty black ankle boots and one of my favourite vintage handbags, I can see this outfit recurring throughout the coming season, even though the dress is very, very short!
One of my favourite things about this dress is the sleeves – bell sleeves are super-flattering, and I love the crochet fabric and the scalloped trim. Wearing this dress makes me feel like a cross between Stevie Nicks and a Haim sister, surely never a bad thing?! It’s definitely the most wearable option for a walk in the park and a pub lunch – I reckon a fringed kimono a la Stevie circa Rumours might be a little much, non?
