A Perfect Spring Accessory

This Christmas, I was very lucky to receive a pile of presents that were just perfectly suited to me – you can read all about them here.

But one gift in particular stuck out to me as it’s one of the more luxe gifts I’ve received. My final present from Lewis was this beautiful, blush pink leather handbag from Ted Baker, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I know that some of you might not see Ted Baker as a luxury label – hey, if you’re getting YSL or Mulberry for Christmas, good for you. But this is far and away the most expensive bag I own, and cost aside, it’s definitely the most beautiful.

I mean, just look at that detailing! Rose gold and pink is one of my favourite colour combinations, and this has gorgeous rose gold hardware and the tiny lettering on the front is rose gold too. Plus, the delicate engraved metalware on the front is actually a mirror that slides out – it’s that kind of attention to detail that I love.

It’s definitely not the most spacious of bags, but then I think it’s too pretty for everyday use anyway. It’s got two compartments, with a selection of pockets in the front section, and a handy zipped pocket in the back compartment too.Β It’s ideal for evenings out and days when all I need are the basics – and it just turns up every outfit to something special as soon as I sling it on my shoulder.

The Mariann bag is available here, and in black here. If you fancy something a little bigger, this one is pretty similar too.

What do you think of my new bag?
