Pantone’s Colours of 2016
I don’t know about you, but I am absolutely loving Pantone’s decision for the colours of 2016. Rose Quartz, a perfect soft pink with a hint of warmth, paired with the icy blue Serenity – the perfect partnership. It helps that these are two of my favourite colours, of course.
I’ve taken a look online and compiled my favourite home buys in shades of Rose Quartz and Serenity; I particularly like the gorgeous midcentury vibes of the Made.com blue armchair, and I’m currently feeding an obsession with that amazing pink fluffy footstool. But for my budget this month, perhaps I’ll stretch to West Elm’s rose quartz coasters, to add a bit of glamour to my coffee table.
Both are colours that I’ve been trying to introduce more into our home, as they both work so well with plain white, soft grey and the metallic hints that we’ve all been loving so much. Rose paired with soft gold or copper, pale blue mixed with a flash of silver. Perfect.
What do you think of my choices, and do you like the Colours of 2016?
