It’s been a funny old week… one moment it’s felt like the week that will never end, but then before I knew it, it was Friday night!

I had a Friday night with a bit of a difference; instead of our usual dinner and drinks, we decided to head straight to the Tate Modern, now it’s open later on a Friday night. It was such a great evening; I’ve not been to the Tate since I was at school so it was like seeing it all for the first time again, especially as so much has now changed. I especially loved the viewing platform!

We’ve had a few post-work nights out this week actually – a couple of cheeky drinks on Tuesday night and then on Wednesday, we met our friend for dinner and the football while he’s working down here for a few weeks. We inadvertently ended up in a pub in Shoreditch where it seemed as if all of the Portuguese football fans in London had decided to gather too – which made for an interesting (and very loud!) evening…

So this week I’ve started working on a little top-secret project that I can’t wait to share – it’s been the absolute highlight of my week and I’m very excited to share what’s been going on in another few weeks…!

Also this week, I received a fabulous little gift in the post from JD Williams which I’m looking forward to sharing with you here in the next few weeks. I was sent the most gorgeous blush-pink maxi dress which fits like a dream, and I can’t wait to shoot it! I still pinch myself when brands get in touch to work with me, and I can’t deny it’s a really lovely bonus of having this hobby, when I get sent beautiful presents too!

So today I’m going to enjoy a mixed bag of a Sunday; I need to go and pick up some parcels (sales shopping in River Island and La Redoute!) and head off for coffee with one of my oldest friends for a catch-up. Later on I’m sure I’ll be glued to Wimbledon and the football too – who have I become?!
